Alaska’s LIFT Miles Program supports Forest Restoration
Forest restoration is becoming more and more popular among young generation and volunteers working with the “National Forest Foundation”. Previous year’s forest restoration and natural forest trails repairing figures are, almost 67,000 acres and 125 miles respectively. Their main target areas include Tahoe National Forest and American River Ranger district near Sacramento. AlaskasWorld has initiated this noble concept.
